Opportunities to Participate
Cohort One was held at the Minnesota Department of Education offices in Roseville, and finished the program in June 2008. Cohort Two, a partnership with the Applied Learning Initiative and Northeast Higher Education District, completed the program in June 2009, and Cohort Three, a partnership with the University of Minneosta Rochester, finished in September 2009. Cohort Four, consisting of Minneapolis and Saint Paul school district principals, began in August 2009 and is funded by a foundation grant. A fifth cohort, also Minneapolis and Saint Paul, will start in January 2010.
Future cohorts are dependent on legislative allocations or other funding. The Minnesota Department of Education is exploring the possibility of federal funding. If your district or region wishes to explore private foundation funding, please contact us to Julie Sweitzer to discuss options.
